What the price includes. The standard for hotel cleaning.

  • Lobby, reception and lift areas done before the guests come down

A hotel is judged in the first thirty seconds in the lobby. Fingerprints on the glass door, sand in the mat, a coffee stain on the carpet by the lift. Those areas are walked over around the clock, and they look tired long before the carpet actually is.

How does regular hotel cleaning work?

We build the plan around the rhythm of the house: the lobby and corridors early, the breakfast restaurant after the buffet, conference rooms between two groups. Each area has its own frequency. After the walkthrough you get a fixed monthly price.

We sign for keys and alarm codes in writing and store them separately from the address. Quality checks run on a fixed schedule, and whatever doesn’t hold up we put right without you having to ask. Nordic Swan labelled products, machines and consumables are included in the price.

Should we keep our own housekeeping?

Yes, if you want to. The agreement can stick to shared areas, back of house and conference rooms, and the rooms can join later, or never. You choose the order.

If you do add rooms, the plan separates checkouts from stay-overs. A checkout is the full turnaround with beds, bathroom, surfaces, floors and restocking. The stay-over is lighter: towels, bins and a wipe-down in the bathroom. The two do not cost the same in hours, so they sit separately in the quote. Rooms can also come in purely as a supplement, in the window between check-out and check-in, when occupancy peaks, or when your own people call in sick. The hours can be turned up and down from month to month.

What about the breakfast restaurant?

We clear the dining area and wash the floors when the buffet closes. The kitchen itself stays the hotel’s own, and responsibility for the food self-monitoring stays with the hotel.

At a smiley inspection you must be able to answer who cleans, how and how often. In the food-adjacent areas we therefore work to your own self-monitoring programme (egenkontrol) and the cleaning plan that belongs to it. We do not take over the egenkontrol. It sits with the hotel, whoever does the cleaning.

What does hotel cleaning cost?

Regular hotel cleaning starts from 270 DKK per hour ex. VAT, one-off jobs such as a deep clean from 320 DKK. After a walkthrough of the property you get a fixed monthly price for the areas and frequencies we have agreed. Products and machines are included, and the price only changes if the job does.

Do you take over the room cleaning?

Only if you want us to. The agreement can stick to shared areas and back of house, and we add rooms by arrangement, for example for large arrivals, in peak season or when your own people are off sick.

What time of day do you work?

To the rhythm of the house. The lobby is done early, the breakfast restaurant when the buffet closes, and conference rooms between two groups. If something needs clearing in the window between check-out and check-in, we put the hours there.

Can the hours follow the season?

Yes. If you have a full house in summer and quiet weeks in November, we agree the frequencies per period instead of one figure year-round. A change always means a new written quote before it takes effect.

Is there any lock-in on the agreement?

No. The agreement can be cancelled with the current month plus one month's notice, and there is no start-up fee.
