Commercial cleaning in Løkken

From May, 485 white-painted beach huts stand in a row along the ten kilometres of sand, and they stay up until September. In winter fewer than 1,700 people live here. Accommodation, restaurants and shops have to handle both tempos, and so does the cleaning.

Torvet, with the bathing hotel from 1895, is the middle of town, and down at the pier the cutters are still winched up over the beach. The lobby, corridors and stairs are done before the guests are up, the restaurant once it has closed. Sand and salt wear on the floors, so mats, the entrance and stair carpets come round more often in the plan than the rest of the building.
