Warehouse cleaning

Traffic areas, picking aisles and racking take up most of a warehouse, and they don’t take the same cleaning. The floor gets machine work. Racking needs dust binding, or the dust ends up on the goods and in the air, where it becomes a working-environment issue. And then there are the staff facilities, which your employees notice every single day.

What does the dust do to the working environment?

The Danish Working Environment Authority names cleaning as a control against airborne dust, and the planning has to answer how often and who cleans. So the plan uses dust binding rather than dry sweeping alone. Racking sits on a fixed rotation, and gates and entrance lobbies are in there too, because that’s where the dirt comes in from outside.

How do you keep a warehouse floor clean?

With sweeping and machine washing on a fixed plan. A scrubber dryer and a sweeper come with us, sized to your floor area.

The Danish rules for fixed workplaces set no specific frequency. What they require is that the workplace is kept clean and tidy at all times and that escape routes stay clear across their full width, and keeping them that way is part of the fixed plan. A second set of rules, the one on technical equipment, requires that people on foot are not in the same area as self-propelled machines. That is part of why the machine washing sits outside the busiest hours, and why our staff are briefed on your traffic rules and safety zones before they work in the hall.

How we set the price

After a walkthrough of the warehouse you get a fixed price in writing within 24 hours, set by area, floor covering and frequency. Machines, products and consumables are included, so there is no surcharge for equipment. If the job changes, you get an updated quote before the price changes.

We check the quality of what was agreed on a fixed schedule, not only at start-up.
